The hotel's location serves as an ideal base for exploring the stunning Lake District, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast was an enjoyable affair, with a menu that catered to various tastes, though the absence of brown bread was a minor setback. Rooms were comfortable, complete with flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected. Andrew, the hotelier, exemplified superb hospitality, readily assisting whenever needed, reinforcing an atmosphere of warmth among the staff. Although room service wasn't emphasized, the inviting restaurant featured a commendable menu for evening meals. Parkside is a strong contender for those seeking comfort while enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
